A while back, I changed the theme and posted that it would not be final, and that I would make one of my own. Well, I have changed it again, but I won’t be making my own for two very good reasons:
- I don’t have the time.
- There are a bunch of very talented people out there making beautiful, robust themes for WordPress and giving them away for free!
This theme is called Binary Blue, and it’s available here. It’s actually a theme package with a bunch of sub-themes (they call them “Schemes”) included. You can switch between them over there on the right –>
This may not be my final theme, and it needs a bit of tweaking, but it’s a great theme that I can already recommend.
I also wrote (after losing a lengthy post!) that I was looking for an off-line tool for editing posts. Well, I found one! Windows Live Writer (Beta) is free (yes, free!) from Microsoft, and it has every feature I have ever dared hope for! I can now write and publish straight from my desktop. I can insert photos, videos, or maps with a click! If you’re blogging and using Windows, you really owe it to yourself to at least give Windows Live Writer (Beta) a try!
